Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Your Questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, I prefer to work on appointment only as I like to make sure my clients don't feel rushed or pressured. Anyway if I am free, I’m happy to take some walk-ins as long as it won’t affect my booking schedule.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment directly from this website on the 'Book Now’ page or on my Instagram profile via the 'Book Now' button.
Please make sure you read through the ID & Age Policy, the Age Restrictions ad the Terma & Conditions before you book an appointment.
Can my fiend/family come with me?
We work on a strict one-to-one service so we ask that you attend your appointment alone. We don't have space to accomodate additional parties. The only exception is for minors 16-17 y/o as we require them to be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
Can I get pierced with a ring?
No. A ring will not have enough room to accomodate the piercing swelling during the first phase of the healing period. To safely pierce with a ring, I will have to use a size way bigger than what you expect and trust me, it won’t look good, especially on a nostril. Also Seam and Hinged rings can rotate into the fresh piercing causing irritation and prolonging the healing time.
Can I get pierced while pregnant/breastfeeding?
No. As with any body art, infection is a risk and that risk can be transmitted to your baby. Better be safe than sorry.
Can I get pierced with my own jewellery?
No. As a UKAPP member, I'm committed to promote a safe piercing experience. I only use jewellery that is verified and compliant with ISO and ASTM standards and comes from reputable manufacturers, so it is safe to be used in fresh piercings. I will not use any jewellery purchased outside of the studio into a fresh piercing simply because I don’t know what it is made of, where it comes from and how it has been manufactured.
